Pepa Molina is an award winning flamenco dancer, teacher and choreographer. She began her dance studies at the age of 9 in Sydney, Australia.
In 1993 she relocated to Spain to pursue a career in flamenco dance, learning and performing with La Mariquilla, Manolete and Juan Andres Maya. She made her debut in the legendary gypsy caves and tablaos of El Sacromonte, Granada.
In 1998 she moved to Madrid where she continued her studies at the renowned Amor de Dios studios while performing at emblematic tablaos El Café de chinitas, Corral de la Morería, Corral de la Pacheca, La Villa Rosa, Casa Patas and Las Carboneras.
Pepa has toured both throughout Spain and internationally alongside Eva La Yerbabuena, Beatriz Martin in El amor Brujo by choreographer Manolo Marin and in Manolete’s, Paco Peña and Los Losadas, Rafael Amargo and Arrieritos Flamenco dance theatre companies.
In 2004 Pepa formed her own company, Compañía Pepa Molina through which she continues to create new work for Australian and international audiences.
