Palmas Abiertas

Palmas abiertas |

Updated: September 18th 2016

This is the third in a series of posts about the technique for flamenco palmas. If you haven't watched the first two videos in the series, go back and have a look now...

The technique for palmas abiertas is a little more difficult to learn than for palmas sordas. You really need to practice to find the right sound.

As mentioned before your hands should be very relaxed, follow the directions of the José in the video to find the correct placement and then keep experimenting until you find a good sound.

The rhythm in this video is the same three-beat rhythm as is demonstrated in the video for palmas sordas.
